The best way to know if NatureTats is right for your shop? Hold one.
Tell us a little about your store and we’ll get samples on their way.
NatureTats, a woman-owned online temporary tattoo shop based in Austin, Texas, is a celebration of nature through beautifully hand-drawn wearable art. Founded by artist Allison Wilcoxen, our temporary tattoos are not just accessories; they're invitations for self-expression, perfect for festivals, daily wear, or envisioning future permanent ink. They're more than just a gift—they're a unique way to add excitement to parties and events!
Stores that already have a nature-loving customer base. Think national parks, nature centers, botanical gardens, zoos, aquariums, garden centers, outdoor outfitters, and nature-themed gift shops. Crystal shops and wellness boutiques have also been surprisingly great fits.
Our designs skew toward American Southwest, woodland, and coastal themes — so if your shop is in or near those ecosystems, or your customers already think that way, NatureTats tend to move fast.
Yes — since you'll be reselling the products, you'll need to provide a resale certificate so we can process your order tax-exempt. If you're not sure how to get one, it's typically issued by your state's department of revenue and pretty straightforward to obtain.
Yes, with some limits. You're welcome to sell NatureTats in your physical store, on your own website, or at events and markets. We just ask that you don't list them on third-party marketplaces like Etsy, Amazon, or eBay. Not sure if your situation qualifies? Just ask — we're happy to talk it through.
We don't offer refunds on wholesale orders, but we do accept design exchanges within 60 days of delivery — because what sells at a coastal aquarium isn't always what moves at a Texas gift shop, and we get that. Just send back any unsold designs in their original, unmarked packaging and we'll swap them for better fits.
One thing to know: we can't accept anything back with price stickers or markings on the packaging, since we can't resell them. Questions? Reach us at hello@naturetats.com.
Yes — for orders of 1,000+ pieces, we can create custom designs and include your branding on the back of each tattoo or on a white label tag. It's a great option for special events, branded retail experiences, or shops that want something truly their own.
Custom designs are released as part of our larger collection drops, which happen in spring and fall. Starting at $500 — reach out to hello@naturetats.com if you'd like to explore it.
No expiration date — we've used tattoos that were over 5 years old without any issues. Just store them away from direct sunlight (which can cause fading) and in a reasonably cool, dry space, and they'll hold up fine on the shelf.
