Some are essential pollinators, many are nocturnal and an abundant food source for mammals, reptiles, fish, other insects, and even humans. To many of us, moths’ colorful patterns, fluffy little bodies, feathery antennae, and delicate wings inspire an appreciation for the beauty within the darkness and respect for nature.
